«Elige un trabajo que te guste y no tendrás que trabajar ni un día en tu vida» (Choose a job you like and you won’t have to work a day in your life)

I found this sentence in a sugar envelope during my last trip to Andalusia. And I think it perfectly sums up my feeling towards my project: it’s not just work, it’s passion and dedication to what I do and to my students.

Every language teacher who is reading this knows what I’m talking about: finding a sign and thinking about how it could be taught, seeing something on Instagram and thinking «I’m going to send it to Peter because he’s going to love it».

Many times I look around and think that the most important thing for me is to see how my work directly influences the lives of my students. It couldn’t be any other way for me.
